A Public Consultation and Disclosure Plan (PCDP)

PCDP is a tool for managing communications between MB LLC, its subsidiary companies and stakeholders to improve and facilitate decision making and actively engage all stakeholders who can be affected by the development of a project. The aim is to document implementation of a formal program objective; monitor and evaluate results and behaviour of the respective parties, which will in turn enable evolution and improvements to specific programs over time. PCDP outlines and documents MB LLC's consultation and disclosure practices for activities occurring during:

  • Exploration
  • Feasibility Studies
  • Development / Construction of the Projects
  • Life of a Project

The goal of this process is to ensure that adequate information is provided to project-affected people and other stakeholders in a timely manner and that these groups are provided sufficient opportunity to voice their concerns and opinions that can influence project decisions. Furthermore, the approach gives recognition to and is carried out in a manner consistent with local cultural norms of the areas within which we operate.
