Petrogas Exploration & Production has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sonatrach, Algeria’s state-owned national oil and gas company, on the sidelines of the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES) at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Usama Al Barwani, Managing Director of Petrogas, and Mr. Farhat Ounoughi, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Sonatrach, reflecting both companies’ commitment to strengthening collaboration in the oil and gas sector.
The MoU supports Petrogas’ strategy to expand its presence in North Africa by exploring new opportunities in Algeria’s energy sector and enhancing technical cooperation and knowledge exchange between both organizations.
