Petrogas E&P extends support to the Al Noor Association for the Blind
The Exploration &
Production arm of MB Holding – Petrogas E&P has extended its
support to the Al Noor Association for the Blind. As part of the
agreement, Petrogas E&P has provided several essential
commodities to Al Noor Association for the Blind such as Braille
sense U2 laptops, braille watches and folding canes.
Jean Denis Bouvier, CEO, Petrogas E&P, said, “Our philosophy has
always been to reach out to communities within which we operate.
We consider it our privilege and pride to be able to help the
differently abled. This programme with Al Noor has reaffirmed
our commitment to contribute to the wellbeing of the local

believe in giving back to the community. Education and
development of the youth is one of the pillars of our Group’s

Al Noor Association for the Blind was registered by the Ministry
of Social Development in 1997. It is an NGO which works for the
benefit of the blind in Oman. It has more than 500 members
across Oman from 18 years and above. The centre serves the
interest of the blind in social & economic welfare, education,
health, training, placement & teaching of Braille. It also
prepares and implements plans and programmes that improve the
living standards of the blind in the Sultanate of Oman.
Established in 1999, Petrogas E&P is the holding company for MB
